FIELD: chemical technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention describes the improved method for preparing the crystalline form I of cabergoline. Method involves preparing the form V by using heptane as a precipitating solvent and with exclusive conversion to the crystalline form I of cabergoline. Method involves the crystallization stage of the form V from toluene-heptane system of solvents at "reverse addition" of toluene-cabergoline concentrate to cold heptane.
