FIELD: power engineering; turbine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at designing steam intake part of cylinder of steam turbine. Proposed cylinder of steam turbine includes front steam intake part of outer housing, front part of inner housing with first stage guide vane assembly, front seal holder installed in ring slot of outer housing at its end face wall and steam intake branch pipes. Outer surface of holder is arranged radially outside between ring slot of outer housing and root outline of guide vane assembly of first stage, and clearance is made between periphery of front part of inner housing and outline of outer housing, said clearance is limited by heart expansion. Moreover, holder of front seal is provided with ribs overlapping section of steam intake between steam intake branch pipes. Two horizontal ribs are made in form of pawls integral with flanges of horizontal split of lower half of holder resting of lower half of outer housing. Invention eliminates design drawbacks of known device, namely, simplifies design of outer housing of cylinder, makes it possible to make steam intake chamber of large cross section with improved aerodynamic properties with full circumferential feed to guide vane assembly of first stage and provide rigid resting of holder of front seal in outer housing. ^ EFFECT: improved economy and reliability of steam turbine. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg |
