The chamber has a central injector (2) delivering a fuel jet along a determined reduced cord angle (b), when a piston (40) is between a top dead center and a determined intermediate distance with respect to the center, such that a concave tulip (14) surrounds a base of a cone formed by a jet surface. A peripheral part (44) of the tulip has fuel jet bursting units (142) for bursting injected fuel jets against the part along the angle.
