FIELD: flotation equipment for treatment of water. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus has flotation unit comprising flotation chamber for introducing therein of flocculated unpurified water mixed with micro bubbles generated by means of pressure elevating and releasing unit, and capturing modules disposed in flotation chamber furnished with perforated collecting device. Perforations of perforated collecting device have smaller sizes in outlet end of flotation chamber than in its inlet end. Such design provides for asymmetry at the level of collecting device to thereby enable generation of uniform and homogeneous flow over the entire surface of flotation chamber. Capturing modules are positioned within flotation chamber in such a manner that their lower part is spaced from perforated collecting device by certain distance h making from 0.05 m to 1 m, preferably from 0.15 m to 0.6 m. Distance h is selected so as to avoid the possibility of inhomogeneous distribution of water to be treated, said homogeneous distribution being provided by means of perforated collecting device. Distance h is the function of, in particular, geometry of flotator, water flow rate, and temperature of water under treatment procedure. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency in treatment of water flowing at high flow speed and/or having extremely low temperature. ^ 5 cl, 4 dwg, 4 tbl |
