FIELD: rubber industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention provides butyl rubber, which is obtained from reaction mixture comprising (i) monomer mixture monomeric monoolefin containing 4-7 carbon atoms and monomeric olefin with several double bonds and containing 4-14 carbon atoms, or beta-pinene; (ii) crosslinking reagent, which is olefinic hydrocarbon with seceral double bonds selected from group consisted of norbornadiene, 2-isopropenylnorbornene, 2-vinylnorbornene, 1,3,5-hexatriene, 2-phenyl-1,3-butadiene, divinylbenzene, diisopropylbenzene, divinyltoluene, divinylxylene, and alkyl-substituted derivatives thereof containing 1-20 carbon atoms; and (iii) chain transfer reagent. A process for obtaining above-defined butyl rubber in presence of catalytic system is also disclosed. ^ EFFECT: improved cold flow characteristics, dispensability of rubber extender, extrusion velocity, and extruded flow rate. ^ 36 cl, 14 dwg, 8 tbl |
