FIELD: forest industry, in particular, remote solution of forestry tasks on the basis of program processing of forest images. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves producing image of stocked wood in the form of dependences of function of image brightness I (x, y) from spatial coordinates; converting image brightness function into digital matrix of discrete readings by dimensions (mxn) of elements; performing program calculation of spatial spectrum of image of matrix under analysis and determining attachment point Dav=1/Fav of ogive of stand at plot under analysis; calculating stand volume by digital characteristics of matrix under analysis and mass tables; providing images of stocked woods comprising quadrates at temporary log during several years at one and the same growing periods of the year; evaluating area of crown canopy relief Sr of plot under analysis by program calculation of matrix, and calculating stand volume growth Pm from formulation: where Fav1, Fav2 is average frequency of spatial spectrum of image matrices produced at the beginning and end of temporary log; Sr1, Sr2 are areas of wood canopy relief of plot under analysis with the same time interval; Dav is average diameter of wood crown canopy; Fav is average frequency of spatial spectrum of image matrices. ^ EFFECT: increased precision, efficiency, reliability and statistic stability of result. ^ 6 dwg, 1 ex |
