FIELD: mechanical engineering; centrifugal pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method of capacity control of centrifugal pump comes to bypassing of part of handled liquid from pump outlet to its input through bypass line and regulating gate and suction gate on input pipeline of pump before bypass line. Capacity control is provided by simultaneously opening of bypass gate and closing of suction gate at maintaining constant summary flow rate of handled liquid bypass and output lines or rated power consumed by electric motor rotating the pump. ^ EFFECT: reduced consumption of electric energy, enlarged sphere of application. ^ 4 dwg |
