The device (8) has a lever (10) mounted on an end fitting (9) and titling between two positions. The lever extends laterally with respect to the fitting for cooperating with a stop inside a slide (7) in one position, when force is exerted on slats (4) and extracts the slats from the slide. The lever is retracted with respect to the fitting in the other position and returned to its former position by a return unit. An independent claim is also included for a roller blind comprising an apron with assembly of slats.
