The method involves installing, along a roadway, terminals (B1, B2). Each vehicle is equipped with a short distance radio frequency communication transceiver (2) to receive signals from a short distance radio frequency communication transceiver (5) of terminals. Management units (1, 4) respectively of each vehicle and terminal are programmed during the activation of dangerous running condition detecting sensors (Cb1-Cbn) of terminals. An independent claim is also included for a system for exchanging and communicating road information.
