<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine with exhaust turbocharger efficiently meeting the various needs with respect to an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: In an internal combustion engine with supercharger, a turbine 25 of the exhaust turbocharger 17 and an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst 27 are sequentially arranged on an engine exhaust passage. The internal combustion engine with supercharger comprises: communication passages 51, 52, 53 connecting at least two exhaust passage parts out of three exhaust passage parts of an exhaust passage part 24 upstream of the exhaust of the turbine, an exhaust passage part 26 between the turbine and the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst, and an exhaust passage part 29 downstream of the exhaust of the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst; and reflux means P1, P2, P3 making the exhaust gas at least partially flow back through the communication passages from the downstream exhaust passage part to the upstream exhaust passage part out of exhaust passage parts connected by the communication passages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
