<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner having a beautiful indoor appearance less possible to impair. <P>SOLUTION: This indoor unit 2a for the air conditioner 1 comprises a casing main body 23 and a front panel 50. The casing main body 23 has a blowout opening 26 through which the air blown out indoors passes, and a suction opening 27 through which the air taken from indoors passes. The front panel 50 opens and closes at least one of the blowout opening 26 and the suction opening 27. The front panel 50 has an opening portion 500. The casing main body 23 has a projecting portion 501 corresponding to the opening portion 500. A first portion 52 of the front panel 50 is changed into two or more stationary states, a curving degree of the cross-sectional shape in the first state is different from a curving degree of the sectional shape in the second state, and the projecting portion 501 of the casing main body 23 is inserted into the opening portion 500 in the second state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
