<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve removal efficiency of water-soluble contaminants and water-insoluble contaminants. <P>SOLUTION: A gas clarifying unit A which separates and removes the contaminants in unclean air W' into liquid by performing gas-liquid contact through a porous membrane and a chemical filter B which removes water-insoluble contaminants in the unclean air W' are disposed in an air passage Q where air circulates. In the gas clarifying unit A, the contaminants in the unclean air are separated and removed into the liquid with which the contaminants in the unclean air comes into gas-liquid contact through a porous membrane.
