PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, correction processing method, and correction processing computer program in which a look of a defective pixel of a specific color in an image after color reproduction processing is improved and image quality reduction with too much or too little defective pixel correction can be avoided. SOLUTION: A system control circuit 50 of an image processing apparatus 100 performs defective pixel correction processing, for an output of a photographing element 14, on level and address information of a defective pixel of an imaging element 14 stored in a nonvolatile memory 56 using predetermined thresholds different for each of R, G and B in accordance with white balance mode setting for correcting photographing conditions or a color temperature of a light source in photographing.
