PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect liquid ejection of a liquid ejection nozzle easily and efficiently. SOLUTION: The liquid ejection inspection equipment comprises (A) first and second conductive detection members arranged in noncontact state with a liquid ejection nozzle being inspected, (B) a first detecting section for detecting a current being induced in the first detection member by charged liquid ejected from the liquid ejection nozzle and a second detecting section for detecting a current being induced in the second detection member, and (C) a section for determining whether the liquid is ejected normally or not from the liquid ejection nozzle based on the magnitude of induction currents detected, respectively, at the first and second detecting sections.
