PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system which can receive replies from a plurality of counselors and to which both a client and a counselor can easily connect. SOLUTION: Information is provided by voice communication by combining free word voice recognition and a PoC (push to talk over cellular). When a user of a cellular phone 1 inquires an information providing center 2 by using the most convenient human interface being voice, the information providing center 2 recognizes the inquiry by voice, searches a keyword representing a corresponding field and simultaneously transfer inquiry contents by voice to a plurality of counselors in each field, that is, telephone terminals 31 and 32 of the counselors. The counselors perform speech communication with the user via the information providing center, confirm the details of the inquiry contents and make an optimum answer. The user of the cellular phone 1 simultaneously makes an inquiry to the telephone terminals 31 and 32 of the plurality of counselors by a simultaneous transfer (broadcast) function of a PoC service (PTT service).
