PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify application control in a system having a plurality of application modes. SOLUTION: This application management system is provided with an ID applying means for applying unique ID to an application, a transition control means for controlling the transition of an application mode defined for each of functions where the control objects of an application are clearly different, a system status transition control means for controlling the transition of a system status defined commonly to the application and a system status management stack for managing the system status. An event patch means for receiving an event when an event is generated notifies the application depending on a notification method stored in the management stack. When a factor necessary for the mode transition is detected, the system status transition control means pushes and adds the stack when transition conditions are satisfied, and operates transition request queuing when the transition conditions are not satisfied.
