PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management system reduced in development cost and operation cost. SOLUTION: The information management system includes a storage device 20 for storing a history information database 8, and an arithmetic processing unit 2. The history information database 8 has a plurality of records each of which has a time/date field for showing results of time/date conversion operations using reference time/date and the time/date of occurrence, and a content field for showing contents of events. When an event occurs, the arithmetic processing unit 2 uses the reference time/date and the time/date of occurrence and performs time/date conversion operations so that the later the time/date of occurrence of the event is, the smaller obtained results of the operations gets. Based on the results of the time/date conversion operations, the arithmetic processing unit 2 converts an event record, i.e., the record of the event, into a conversion record where time/date information has been converted, and stores the conversion record in the history information database 8.
