<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with a capacitive coupling type touch panel that reduces parallax and increases position detection accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The display device 20 with a touch sensor comprises an opposed substrate 6 arranged on the observer side of an active matrix substrate 8 through a display medium layer 4 and having opposed electrodes 5 opposite to pixel electrodes, a display panel drive circuit 14 for feeding the opposed electrodes 5 with a common voltage accompanied by periodic polarity inversion, a position detecting transparent conductive film 7 arranged opposite to the opposed electrodes 5 through the opposed substrate 6, a strobe signal generation circuit 32 for generating a strobe signal synchronized with the period of common voltage polarity inversion, and noise-cut current signal generation circuits 30 for generating noise-cut current signals with predetermined portions eliminated from currents flowing from terminals connected with the position detecting transparent conductive film 7, on the basis of the strobe signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
