PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic circuit unit for an automatic transmission enabling a reduction in height dimension and projected area when installed in the automatic transmission.

SOLUTION: This electronic circuit unit Y for the automatic transmission installed in the automatic transmission of a car and having an electronic circuit 3 with characteristic information specific to the control of the automatic transmission comprises a circuit case 1 in which the electronic circuit 3 is installed and a roughly L-shaped stay 2 having one side 2a to which the circuit case 1 is fixed and the other side 2b in which through holes 2ba for mounting on the automatic transmission H at a prescribed portion are formed.
