PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance coating raw material for hydrophobic/oleophobic finishing of surface. SOLUTION: A new fluorosilane condensation product, a method of manufacturing the same, and a method of using the same for surface modification are provided. The high-performance coating raw material is a compound manufacturable by reacting a fluorous silane (A) expressed by formula (A): R<SB>F</SB>-CH<SB>2</SB>-CH<SB>2</SB>-SiX<SB>3</SB>in which R<SB>F</SB>is a completely or partially fluorinated alkyl radical, X is a Cl or O-C<SB>n</SB>H<SB>2n+1</SB>, and n is an integer of 1-20; with one or more kinds of alcohols expressed by formula (B) R(OH)<SB>m</SB>(NH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>p</SB>in which R is an organic radical containing C- and H-, and m and p are given a condition of either condition (a) m>2 and p=0, or condition (b) m>1 and p>1.
