PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate and a substrate including a thin-film transistor. SOLUTION: The substrate comprises a deformation prevention layer over the surface for the substrate on which deformation caused by thermal stress or evaporation stress is prevented in a manufacturing process. The substrate including the thin-film transistor comprises the substrate, the thin-film transistor disposed over one surface of the substrate, and a deformation prevention layer having at least one layer on the other surface of the substrate, for the substrate including the thin-film transistor on which deformation caused by thermal stress or evaporation stress is prevented in the manufacturing process.
