PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an optimum mirror server group according to an access-load status to an origin server by making an arbitrary node in a network adaptively serve as a mirror server. SOLUTION: The arbitrary node in a network is given the function of adaptively serving as a mirror server (adaptive mirror node B1) a dynamic mirroring request from the origin server. When an origin server A1 performs dynamic mirroring of contents, an adaptive mirror node detecting means A14 detects an adaptive mirror node in the network, and a dynamic mirroring destination determination means A13 determines a mirroring destination. A dynamic mirroring request means A15 makes the dynamic mirroring request to the selected adaptive mirror node B1, and when the request is accepted, a dynamic mirroring means A16 transfers mirror contents.
