PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve connecting strength by increasing quantity of engagement of a male lock member with a female lock member when connecting in regard to a connector formed by arranging the divided female lock members inside a female connecting member and inserting the male lock member of a male connecting member into the female lock member. SOLUTION: A housing chamber 3 for the female connecting member 1 is formed with a tapered hole 4. The female lock member 9 divided into a plurality of parts in the circumferential direction is provided inside the tapered hole 4 freely to slide in the axial direction. Each of the female lock members 9 is energized forward by a spring 15. The male connecting member 20 is provided with the male lock member 24 to be projected, and the male lock member 24 is inserted into the female lock member to engage the internal thread 11 with the external thread 25 for connection.
