PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling structure of a shock absorbing member, surely coupling a pressure receiving member and a shock absorbing member without obstructing a stable axial collapse mode of a shock absorbing member. SOLUTION: This coupling structure of a shock absorbing member couples the cylindrical shock absorbing member 13 and the pressure receiving member 12 disposed on one end side of the shock absorbing member. The coupling structure 10 is provided with a fastener 17 having a male screw member 15 passed through the pressure receiving member 12 and extended along the axial direction of the shock absorbing member 13 toward the other end side of the shock absorbing member, and a connector 18 causing frictional engagement with the inner peripheral surface 13b or the outer peripheral surface 13c of the shock absorbing member 13 by fastening of the fastener to thereby connect the pressure receiving member 12 and the shock absorbing member 13.
