PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster obtaining a cushioning effect in a wider range than in the case of the conventional caster provided with a suspension mechanism part. SOLUTION: A body frame 2 has a pair of support pieces 9, 9, the upper parts of which are provided on a mounting seat 1 to turn and directed downward. A support shaft 14 is stretched between the lower end parts of the support pieces 9, 9 of the body frame 2. Each one end of a pair of arms 4, 4 are held on the support shaft 14 through a torque damper 3. An axle 22 is stretched between the lower parts of the other end sides of the paired arms 4, 4. A wheel 5 is rotatably provided on the axle 22. A first shaft 23 is stretched between the upper end parts of the support pieces 9, 9 of the body frame 2. A second shaft 24 is stretched between the upper parts of the other end sides of the arms 4, 4. An expandable and contractable damper 6 where a piston 26 is provided in a cylinder 25 to move forward and backward is mounted between the first shaft 23 and the second shaft 24.
