PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide white printed matter which has a feeling of white with high designability and can be obtained by a routine printing process, and its processing method. SOLUTION: This white printed matter has a primary printing layer 13 formed on the white surface of paper, using an electron radiation or an ultraviolet-curable medium ink, an overcoat layer 14 formed on the surface of the primary printing layer 13, using an electron radiation or an ultraviolet-curable coating agent, the part where the surface of the paper, the primary printing layer 13 and the overcoat layer 14 are superposed over each other being formed with an appearance of matte-finish white. The primary printing layer 13 repels a coating agent when the latter is applied to the overcoat layer 14. The white printed matter processing method comprises a process to form a printing layer on a base material by offset printing, a process to form the primary printing layer 13 by offset printing, a process to form the overcoat layer 14 on the surface of the primary printing layer 13 by coating, and a process using an offset printing machine.
