<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for surely protecting information to be transmitted between communication applications particularly via narrow-band connection without applying unnecessary loads to communicating parties. <P>SOLUTION: The security method is based on facts of: performing communication sessions simultaneously with each other at intervals on which agreement is reached between communicating parties; re-calculating security parameters while performing continuous communications; and giving connection security to a message in accordance with the new parameters. Each of the communicating parties monitors the time for the recalculation and performs the recalculation at the agreed intervals, thereby changing the security parameters without handshake. Messages are numbered and the recalculation is triggered at the agreed number intervals. Thus, the security parameters can be changed during a session without handshake, and necessity of the handshake can be decreased. Furthermore, transmission security is improved, namely, invasion is made more difficult so as not to get profits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
