<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the degree of freedom of condition selection in storing data, and to reduce facility investment costs. <P>SOLUTION: A storage mediator installs a data storage mediating system 100, and applies for a storage assignor and a storage trustee. A performance evaluating part 170 evaluates performance related with speed and reliability of servers X, Y and Z provided by the trustee, and records it in an evaluation result recording part 140. When a data storage request is made from the terminal A of the trustee, a condition input part 110 inputs the storage conditions related with the speed and reliability, and a storage destination deciding part 120 decides a server matching the storage conditions as a storage destination referring to the performance of each server. A mediation processing part 130 stores the storage object data from the terminal A in the servers X to Z being the storage destinations. A charge processing part 160 charges the storage fee to the assignor, and a reward calculation processing part 180 calculates a reward for the trustee.
