<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system by which game participants can easily communicate with each other and easily exchange information and points between each other, which always keeps variation accompanying time of an open space of a multi-user participating type to activate a game system, and where sales promotion of merchandise sales etc. is made to be efficient. <P>SOLUTION: This game system continuously transmits positional information and movement course information of a character corresponding to a user ID in a map space by instruction from a user terminal machine in a pseudo virtual space (map space) in which a large number of users participate to each user terminal, and informs an event program that the character arrives at specific coordinates by instruction from the user terminal machine. In the game system, a virtual article providing program is installed at optional coordinates in the map space, and a large number of virtual articles having value points are displayed in this.
