<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type rotary electric machine of a 180-degree inverter drive system which prevents an overcurrent trip. <P>SOLUTION: When an outer diameter of a slot of a stator core is taken as D1, an inner diameter of the stator core is done as D2, and a maximum outer diameter of a magnetic pole piece extending from teeth of the stator core to both sides is done as D3, it is constituted that D1, D2 and D3 satisfy a relation expressed by an equation, D2+(D1-D2)/5≤D3≤D2+(D1-D2)/3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
