PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for a heavy load capable of appropriately using especially for all seasons by improving uneven wear resistance with a block pattern and without sacrificing wet grip performance and on-snow travel performance or the like as much as possible. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire for the heavy load is composed of at least three kinds of blocks 4 of a central block 4C, an intermediate block 4M, and an outside block 4S with at least five circumferential longitudinal grooves 2 of a central longitudinal groove 2C, an outside longitudinal groove 2S, and an intermediate longitudinal groove 2M, and a central lateral groove 3C, an intermediate lateral groove 3M and an outside lateral groove 3S which connect the longitudinal grooves. The maximum width W4Cmax and the minimum width W4Cmin in the axial direction of the central block 4C, the maximum width W4Mmax and the minimum width 4Mmin of the intermediate block 4M, and the maximum width W4Smax and the minimum width W4Smin of the outside block 4S satisfy relations (W4Smax/W4Smin) < (W4max/W4Mmin) < (W4Cmax/W4Cmin), and 1.00≤W4Smax/W4Smin≤1.20, 1.15≤4Mmax/W4min≤1.40, 1.40≤W4Cmax/W4Cmin≤1.70.
