PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board unit capable of reducing the labor hour of users for destination setting required for route search. SOLUTION: The support device for destination setting 103 includes a belongings information acquiring section 204 for acquiring identification data for articles loaded on a vehicle, a baggage DB storage section 201 for storing a baggage database describing baggage related to destination and/or genre, a destination setting supporting section 206 for supporting procedures for destination setting, based on identification data acquired from the belongings data acquiring section 204 and the baggage database stored in the baggage DB storage section 201, and a route-setting section 209 for setting route up to the destination set under the support of the destination setting supporting section 206.
