PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system wherein a scanner, a printer and a PC can more simply be interconnected. SOLUTION: The scanner 1 is provided with a printer port 7-1 and a PC port 7-2, the printer 2 is connected to the printer port 7-1 and the PC 3 is connected to the PC port 7-2 from a LAN 6. When the scanner 1 receives data from the PC port 7-2 and destination information in a header of the data indicates the scanner itself, the scanner 1 captures therein the data. When the destination information is matched with a MAC address of the printer 2 stored in the scanner 1, the scanner 1 outputs the data to the printer 2 via the printer port 7-1. When the destination information of the data received from the PC port 7-2 does not indicate the scanner 1 and the printer 2, the scanner 1 aborts the data. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
