PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise absorber capable of improving workability at the time of attachment and capable of miniaturization. SOLUTION: In a core 1, a cable insertion passage is formed such that, in a cross-sectional shape vertical to the longitudinal direction, while the length of a long axis is more than the double of the outer diameter of an inserted signal cable SC, the length of a short axis is equal to or more than the outer diameter of the inserted signal cable SC and less than double. The outside shape of a section vertical to the longitudinal direction of the core 1 is a shape having a long axis and a short axis corresponding to the cross-sectional shape of the cable insertion passage. The core 1 is held at a core holder 17 of a first case member 11 by a core suspender 19. First and second case members 11 and 31 possess the core holders 17 and 37 and cable holders 18 and 38.
