PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic tracking device which automatically tracks an object to which a driver pays attention, and warns the driver when any operation or change affecting his/her own vehicle is performed by the object. SOLUTION: The automatic tracking device is provided with: an in-vehicle camera 2 for detecting an object at which the driver gazes from the direction of the visual line of the driver; an out-vehicle camera 1 for detecting an object which is likely to affect his/her own vehicle and which exists in all the directions around his/her own vehicle; a tracking object recognition means 7 for automatically tracking the object when the object detected by the in-vehicle camera 2 is identical to the object detected by the out-vehicle camera 1; and a warning generation determination means 9 and a warning output means 10 for determining operation and change affecting his/her own vehicle of the object tracked by the tracking object recognition means 7, and for warning the driver based on the determination result.
