PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the discharge of an unburnt gas from a burner caused by mistake in igniting operation and flame failure. SOLUTION: A burner head supporting bolster 31 is additionally mounted on an eccentric portion in a water tank receiving bowl 26 surrounding a head 38 of the burner B in a stepped raised bottom configuration, surrounding brackets 55, 56 of a flame failure detecting unit U unitized by assembling a temperature sensor 54 for detecting flame failure of the burner B, and the surrounding brackets 55, 56 bent approximately in the L-shape, are mounted on corresponding eccentric portions in a dust collecting box 7 so that the temperature sensor 54 is penetrated through a burner head supporting bolster 31 from a lower portion, and raised to a peripheral portion of a burner port 39 in the burner B, thus the gas supply to the burner B is cut off and controlled so far as the temperature sensor 54 does not detect a heating temperature from the burner B.
