CONNECTOR AND CONCRETE MEMBER COUPLING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a clearance between members to be connected by reducing quantity of looseness between both of connecting members when connecting, in regard to a connector formed by arranging divided female lock members inside a female connecting member and inserting the male lock member of a male connecting member into the female lock members. SOLUTION: A housing chamber 3 for the female connecting member 1 is formed with a tapered hole 4. The female lock members 9 divided into a plurality of parts in the circumferential direction are provided inside the tapered hole 4 freely to slide in the axial direction. Each of the female lock members 9 is energized forward by a spring 15 so that each of the female lock members 9 can move in the circumferential direction without providing a slide guide projection 8 between adjacent female lock members 9 and 9. The male connecting member 20 is provided with the male lock member 24 to be projected, and the male lock member 24 is inserted into the female lock member to engage the internal thread 11 with the external thread 25 for connection. Thread pitch of the internal thread 11 and the external thread 25 in relation to the nominal diameter is set smaller than thread pitch of the fine pitch thread in relation to the nominal diameter, which is regulated by JIS.
