PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical linear encoder which can carry out position detection by a high resolution and a high precision by improving the mounting precision of a scale and a detector of an encoder, to provide an electronic device which can carry out position detection of a moving member by a high resolution and a high precision by using the optical linear encoder, and particularly to provide an inkjet recorder high in reliability and durability which can carry out high-density recording by performing position detection of a carriage with a recording head loaded thereon by a high resolution and a high precision. SOLUTION: In the case of carrying out adjustment of a paper interval by moving both of a main shaft and a sub-shaft of a CR, the precision between a sensor of the encoder and a film becomes worse, whereby the durability deteriorates.
