PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bead member holding device causing no deformation or damage of a holding member even in a case that a bead member and a band member come into contact with each other when the band member is inserted inward in the radial direction of the bead member. SOLUTION: Since a plurality of the places in the peripheral direction of the bead member BE are held by a plurality of the holding members 11 and 15 mutually arranged in the peripheral direction of the bead member BE and the respective holding members 11 and 15 are supported on their outer peripheral sides by cylinders 12 and 16 so as to be freely tilted in the axial direction of the bead member BE, the holding members 11 and 15 are tilted in the insertion direction of the band member BA, that is, in the axial direction of the bead member BE when the bead member BE and the band member BA come into contact with each other when the band member BA is inserted inside the diametric direction of the bead member BE to be prevented from deformation or damage.
