PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripping tool capable of securely and stably gripping a small article with excellent usability irrespective of hardness, radius of curvature, or easiness of sliding on the surface or the like while it is a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The gripping tool closes two of mutually opposed a pair of gripping pieces 23 and grips the small article between the end parts of both gripping pieces. The griping tool is equipped with the two of mutually opposed the pair of operation gripping pieces 22 which are used by respectively contacting with the respective operation fingers of an operator in gripping operation, and a gripping-end part 24 of the gripping pieces which is approached by grip-operating the respective operation gripping piece by respective operation fingers and is contacted with the respective gripping objective article. When the both gripping-end parts approaches to grip the gripping objective article, the respective gripping end parts are disposed so that the both gripping-end parts reaches the separated position having some intervals without contacting each other.
