PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing device reduced in torque in comparison with a tapered roller bearing and capable of preventing damage due to intrusion of foreign materials such as abrasion chips in the case of using in the oil bath condition. SOLUTION: The ball bearing device has an opposite oil bath side seal device and an oil bath side seal device 20. The oil bath side seal device 20 is provided with a rotating ring side shield plate 21, which is formed of a cylindrical part 21a fitted in an end of a rotating ring 4 and a flange part 21b facing to a fixed ring 2 with the predetermined interval, and a fixed ring side shield plate 22, which is formed of a cylindrical part 22a fitted in an end of the fixed ring 2 so that it is positioned axial inside of the rotating ring side shield plate 21 and a flange part 22b facing to the cylindrical part 22a of the rotating ring side shield plate 21 with the predetermined interval.
