<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of efficiently and accurately forming a visible image on a label surface by irradiating with a laser beam without turning an optical disk over. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk device is provided with: an optical pickup 10 condensing a laser beam L1 on a recording dye film (information recording layer) 52 of a DVD 50, condensing a laser beam L2 on a visible light characteristic change layer (a label layer) 55 and outputting a light receiving signal based on reflected light of the laser beam L1 from the DVD 50; a servo circuit 15 performing focus control and tracking control of the laser beam with which the DVD 50 is irradiated based on the light receiving signal; and a control part 17 controlling the optical pickup 10 so as to emit the laser beam L1 therefrom based on information recording data to be recorded and to emit the laser beam L2 therefrom based on image data to be printed when information is recorded on the DVD 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
