METHOD FOR DETECTING GENETIC POLYMORPHISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting genetic polymorphism information on a specific receptor.

SOLUTION: An oligonucleotide probe and/or an oligonucleotide primer are prepared in a manner to include a genetic polymorphism part existing in a gene sequence or its complementary sequence encoding a receptor or include the genetic polymorphism part in an amplified fragment obtained by amplifying either one or both of the gene sequence or its complementary sequence encoding a receptor. At least one genetic polymorphism in a gene sequence encoding the object receptor is detected by using the obtained oligonucleotide probe and/or the oligonucleotide primer. The receptor is a specific GPR (G protein coupled receptor) and the genetic polymorphism part is at least one existing in a base sequence or its complementary sequence expressed in any one of specific 188 base sequences.
