SIGNAL SEPARATION SYSTEM, SIGNAL SEPARATION METHOD, AND SIGNAL SEPARATION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal separation system capable of accurately performing the process of separating signal source signals under certain conditions.

SOLUTION: A wavelet packet transformation part 13 of a signal separation part 12 performs wavelet packet transformation to transform an observation matrix X in a time domain into an observation matrix X' in a time-frequency domain. Next, based on the observation matrix X' in the time-frequency domain, a mixed matrix estimating part 14 estimates a mixed matrix A that specifies the relationship between the observation matrix X' in the time-frequency domain and a signal source matrix S' in a time-frequency domain. Based on the mixed matrix A estimated and the observation matrix X' in the time-frequency domain, the signal source matrix S' in the time-frequency domain is estimated.
