<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing for an electric seat-reclining device capable of holding the nearly same number of rollers with a whole roller type, capable of operating without generating forcible feeling to improve feeling characteristic, capable of preventing deterioration of responsiveness when starting, prolonged in service life, reduced in torque and vibration, and unnecessary to increase cross dimension thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This roller bearing is used for an electric seat-reclining device and supports a back rest freely to adjust angle of reclining. The roller bearing has an outer ring 1, a plurality of rollers 2 to be brought in contact with a rolling surface of the outer ring 1, and a ring-like cage 3. The cage 3 has a plurality of pockets 4 arranged in the circumferential direction. Support parts 5 between the pocket 4 hold the rollers 3 from inside in the radial direction between the rollers 3. Outside diameter d3o of the support part 5 is formed smaller than the pitch circular diameter PCD of roller arrangement. The cage 3 can be provided with a slit formed into a shape cut from one side edge of the cage to a part near the other end thereof. A roller bearing, which is not provided with the outer ring 1 and which has an inside and an outside cages, can be used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
