PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector for an LED having high reflecting performance from the visible region to the ultraviolet region, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The reflector for an LED is composed of a foamed body having a number average foamed cell diameter of≤50μm and made from a resin in which the wavelength of light whose light beam transmissivity at an optical path length of 250μm lowers to 50% is≤400 nm.
