PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a lubricating coating film for plastic processing, which is excellent in adhesiveness and lubricating property, a composition for forming a lubricating coating film for plastic processing and a material for plastic processing, a method for producing a plastic processed article, and a method for producing a metal tube, a metal wire or a metal stick, the methods requiring no under-coating by a chemical treatment and being capable of conducting by simple process steps. SOLUTION: The lubricating coating film for plastic processing comprises a resin layer formed on a surface of a base material. The resin layer contains wax and also contains 25-99 wt% of a resin showing a glass transition temperature of 30°C or lower under 100 wt% of the resin layer, such as one or more of a (meth)acrylate resin, a urethane resin, a polyester resin, a vinyl alcohol resin, a polyamide resin and a fluorocarbon resin.
