PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a changeover switching device capable of surely switching and obtaining a state that two pairs of switching contacts are opened, and capable of accelerating switching speed. SOLUTION: Vacuum switches 2, 4 and a drive shaft 51 of a driving device 5 are linearly arrayed, the drive shaft 51 is linearly driven to right and left by a driving coil device 60, and a state that either the vacuum switch 2 or the vacuum switch 4 is opened and the other is closed by a movable yoke 86 abutting on the left or a right inner wall of a fixed yoke 81, and a state that both the vacuum switches 2, 4 are opened even if the movable yoke 86 does not abut on either of the left and right inner walls of the fixed yoke 81 are obtained. Further, since one driving device 5 drives so that the vacuum switches 2, 4 are inverted to each other in switching states, there is no fear that both the vacuum switches 2, 4 are closed at the same time, thus enabling sure changeover.
