PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming machine for tree skirt lowering mounting position of a driving source while retaining maximum reaping heights without shortening total length of the reaping blade. SOLUTION: The trimming machine for tree skirt comprises the driving source integrated with a driving power transmission in a state orthogonalizing to the longitudinal direction of the reaping blade, and locating a driven shaft for reciprocating the reaping blade on an upper position than the driving shaft from the power source side.
