Partial rail pieces (2,3) each have a linkage opening (10) on their interlinked ends. A linkage element (4) has two connecting arms, each of which borders a linkage opening. Linked to each connecting arm, a supporting element attaches area by area to assigned partial rail pieces between the linkage opening and the front end of the partial rail pieces. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) A fabricated unit from a partial rail piece and a linking element connected to it for producing a rail unit; (B) and for a linking element for a rail unit.
